MEGADETH's DAVE MUSTAINE To Jam With DREAM THEATER In Dallas

August 2, 2005

MEGADETH frontman Dave Mustaine has posted the following message in the "Forums" section of the band's official web site:

"Well, the first stage of this tour is behind us and thank God for that. As with all tours I have ever been on over the past 20 years, all tours have bugs in the beginning. Fortunately we have top notch professional people out here from every band and we are now in smooth waters.

"My dream for Gigantour is alive and all of the bands are having a great time. But I don't know who is having a better time — you, the fans, or us, band guys. The backstage environment is one of the best I have ever been in, and I will tell you that we are all, and I mean every band, playing better every night. The DVD is going to be awesome!!!

"Thank you for supporting this dream, thank you for staying metal!

"Tomorrow night [August 2] in Dallas I am supposed to play a song with DREAM THEATER on behalf of Darryl [sic]. I am keeping my fingers crossed that I have fun since I have never jammed with another band like this. Wish me luck!"
